Scott Jennings Tells CNN Guest Bureaucracy ‘Has To Stop’ After She Claims FBI Cuts Will Lead To Terrorist Attack

CNN’s Scott Jennings told network commentator Xochitl Hinojosa that bureaucratic resistance to federal cuts “has to stop” after he argued that FBI cuts would lead to terrorist attacks.

Since President Donald Trump’s inauguration, his administration has been working to identify and reduce waste and fraud in taxpayer spending, including layoffs. During a discussion by the CNN panel on a push to fulfill Trump’s campaign promise to reduce the size of the federal government, former Justice Department (DOJ) public relations director Hinohosa argued that the administration focuses solely on loyalty, adding that cutting 5,000 FBI agents would have serious consequences.

“Back to loyalty, I think that’s a very fair point because Trump claims he doesn’t want loyalty within the federal government. He definitely does,” said Nichihosa. “I was in the Department of Justice. They say [me] – Essentially a lawyer, career prosecutor – If you’re not loyal to Trump, you should leave here. ”

“He fired the prosecutor on January 6th. He is about to fire the 5,000 FBI agents, the FBI agents who worked in the case on January 6th. If you fire 5,000 FBI agents, there will be a terrorist attack,” Hinojosa added.

According to CNN, President Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) was given details of more than 5,000 FBI officials on February 4th. Information handed over to the DOJ included employee identification numbers, job titles and roles for the relevant investigation on January 6th.

In response to commentators, Jennings inserted and said the Americans voted for Trump and his campaign promises. (Related: The CIA reportedly plans to fire officers related to the DEI)

“Unfortunately, there are elections in this country for reasons. We give all the executive branches to the President of the United States, not to an independent agency, not to an unelected bureaucracy,” replied Jennings. “The president’s agenda matters. When Republicans are president, bureaucracy resists. We have to stop it.”

Hinohosa pushed Jennings back and stated that before Jennings could refer to the Constitution, he was asked to explain his explanation “like a king.” However, Hinojosa spoke about CNN commentators, claiming that the Trump administration does not “support” the constitution.

“Yeah, it’s not our constitution to obstruct Congress’s expenditure, for example, and take away the institutions we approve. So this is not the constitution,” added Virginia Democrat Suhas Subramanyam.

“But Democrats want to sit here and complain about it, but did they have no issues when Joe Biden opposed the Supreme Court and continued to unilaterally mercilessly relent on student loan debt? Former Trump’s communications director, Erin Maguire, pushed back.

US District Judge William Alsup ruled Thursday that the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must withdraw an order to commence firing of federal probation workers. The judge said the OPM “does not have the authority to hire and fire other agencies under any law in space history,” but he cannot stop actions by departments like the Department of Defense, which are reportedly planned to cut 5,400 Propater employees.

In his final reaction to Maguire, Subramanyam said that cutting federal workers would cause “permanent damage to our country,” adding that he will continue to fight.

“Dana, you want a bigger government, people want a smaller government, Jennings concluded.

Following the acquisition of information about DOJ’s FBI officials, a lawsuit was reportedly filed by multiple anonymous agents and employees claiming that DOJ violated the First Amendment Act and the Privacy Act.

Former and current FBI staff I said NBC News says that the role of FBI director Brian Driscoll has rejected DOJ’s order to remove agents involved in the January 6th case. It remains unclear whether the FBI will implement massive cuts under newly confirmed FBI director Kash Patel, but Patel, who took office on February 20, ordered its agency on February 23 to not require federal employees to justify their work in a government ministry’s email.
