Former Clinton Pollster Admits He’s Clinging To Party Membership As Far Left Drifts From Core Values

A former Clinton poll said Doug Shane on Fox News on Thursday that he is clinging to his party members as the left drifts out of its core values.

Democrats face criticism of their actions in President Donald Trump’s speech on Tuesday. Their actions were particularly noted when Secret Service director Sean Curran praised 13-year-old DJ Daniel, who is fighting 13-year-old brain cancer, with honor. This is an important moment that Democrats don’t recognize. Between exterior In “Ingraham’s Angle,” host Laura Ingraham asked Shane if he foresaw several Democratic switching parties, particularly Democrat Sen. John Fetterman.

“If you look at what he said and what he did, I think it’s certainly possible. Frankly, it’s clear he’s a Democrat and uncomfortable,” Shane told Ingraham. “I don’t agree with Republicans on a lot of things. They go ahead and I go ahead and that’s why I stick to Democrat membership, but that’s not the same party.”

Shane said he wanted policy debate between the parties.

“It’s not a John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton party. Moderates are really not welcome. And I think it’s sadly absent from President Trump’s invitation from the opposition on issues that most of us want,” Shane said. “It’s a party I woke up to the left, left, and the party I built [helped] I proudly re-elect Bill Clinton. ”

Shane said he would remain in Democrats today, but he added that it is currently irrelevant unless it addresses important voter concerns. (Related: “I’m Not Fool”: John Fetterman says he is “not afraid” that his daughter has been “reaped” by a biological man.

“I don’t agree with many of the policies President Trump has outlined very clearly. I think he’s gone too far. But with that being said, my party isn’t doing what Bill Clinton did when the Ginrich Revolution came in 1994. This is to offer a set of alternatives that acknowledge that Americans want border security, reduced inflation, stricter policies on crime, and immigration reform. Until we do that as a party, we Democrats will remain sadly irrelevant,” Shane said.
