CASEY RYAN: It’s Time For DEI-Pushing Accreditors To Change Their Ways

The universities continue to promote and support controversial ideology as they work to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives from the American education system, as they rely on accreditors to float. In recent years, accreditors have encouraged or fully requested that universities adopt DEI goals and standards.

University accreditors decide which universities can grant accredited degrees or receive federal funding. Ministry of Education (ED) I’ll explain it The accreditation serves the purposes of “ensure that an institution or program meets established standards” and “helps identifying institutions and programs for public and private funding investments.”

The department is explicitly situation The university must receive a “nationally recognized” accreditation for students to receive federal student aid. This will create a system that sets standards that include DEI initiatives that universities must adopt to be recognized by EDs.

There are many different types of certified people. for example, Regional Certification Divide the country into states and provide accreditation to universities in certain regions. two Regional Certification Includes the College and School Association Association Association (SACSCOC) and the New England Board of Higher Education (Neche).

Despite covering mostly conservative states such as Texas and Florida, SACSCOC has a wide range of Recruitment They encouraged ideology and universities on their territory to do the same. Accreditors provide universities with strategies to implement DEIs, such as “leading staff who advocate for diversity initiatives and leading diversity initiatives (e.g. Diversity or Multicultural Secretariat).”

Nesh covers the northeast from Connecticut to Maine; request The university employs the DEI initiative as part of the accreditor’s “certificate standards.” Universities hoping to accredit the need to “take unique goals on achieving diversity, equity and inclusion among personnel and assess the effectiveness of efforts to achieve those goals.”

While requesting the university Recruit Accredited DEIs are terrible and the problem is very exacerbated when university healthcare programs are particularly mandated to adopt DEI standards.

The Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) is a medical school accredited claim The ED recognizes it as a prominent authority to accredit medical education programs that lead to an MD degree.

Certified person Obligation The medical school “engages in continuous, systematic, intensive recruitment and retention activities to achieve mission-friendly diversity outcomes among students.” This is included in the certification criteria that will take effect on July 1st.

Unfortunately, the American Association of Nursing Colleges (AACN) is not even better. Nursing school certified people rebelliously Promotion “We support the concepts of diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and justice,” the accredited, particularly citing activist Ibram X. Kendi, the far left activist, “We must believe in the potential to change society so that we can become anti-racists from today.”

The fact that medical and nursing certified people prioritize Dei Dogma over talent and skills is scary, but at this point, everyone should be surprised.

If our leaders want to eradicate Day from higher education, they must start with Ed. University accredited persons are now managed by radical ideologues. The ED must use them to stop determining what universities will receive federal funding and approval.

Our universities must also step up and refuse to pay these accredited persons. These groups receive funds through membership fees paid by the universities that use the services. Certified users are basically paid in taxpayer dollars to promote DEI.

a Reports for 2017 The Center for American Progress has revealed that membership fees can vary widely depending on the university and number of students, with some fees well over $100,000. Only LCME Fee Medical schools cost $25,000 just to submit applications for certification.

The current situation is dangerous to the health of Americans.

If American leaders, and more specifically, DEIs, over merit, continue to prioritize them, they will need to work with the university to strip them of accredited positions and power.
