‘They Are A Dead End’: Newt Gingrich Says Elon Musk’s Shift Away From Dems Is Wake-Up Call For America

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Ginrich said on Wednesday that this is why I think Elon Musk, who is distant from Democrats, should serve as a national alarm.

When he appeared in “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Ginrich said disillusionment with the Musk party marks a key period in American politics, particularly during the tumultuous Biden administration over the past two years. Ginrich said the current trajectory of the Democrats is a “dead end” for the country.

“I think there’s a good reason. Democrats got hooked and Elon was pretty open about this. When you see their policies, you see their value. They’re the dead end of America,” Ginrich said. “I think he really came to believe they were so crazy over the last two years of the Biden administration. They were so out of control, so you had to do something very dramatic to really control the government.”

Gingrich cited a recent poll by America’s New Majority Project, looking back at the sentiment of the public. This says 82% of Americans recognize Washington as corrupt.

clock:

“It’s going to be challenging, but on the other hand, 82% of Americans think Washington is corrupt. Think about it. According to the new majority project vote in the US, eight in 10 Americans, eight in 8 of Americans, and eight in 8 Americans, the government is corrupt,” Gingrich said. Amid these concerns, Ginrich also commented on Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer’s decision to block efforts to maintain government operations.

“And you can’t survive as a free society. If you have a government that is so lightly spitted on your own people. That’s why Schumer announced today that he wouldn’t help him keep the government open,” Ginrich said. “He’s going to get up and fight. He’s on the wrong side of history, and the Americans know that. The Americans want this government to be smaller. The Americans want something like a doge. [Department of Government Efficiency]. ”

Schumer said Senate Democrats will not provide the necessary votes to approve funding agreements passed in the House, increasing the likelihood that the government will be shut down by the end of the week. Without gathering democratic support for the transaction, the government will face closure once Friday is over.

Ginrich spoke about widespread government spending, but he admits it is worse than he had previously thought.

“Every time Elon released another set of really stupid spending, people looked around and said, “Wow, they knew it was bad, but as much as I studied government, I didn’t know it was sick and this was completely vulnerable,” Ginrich said.

Musk said Doge is identifying $1 trillion in wasted funds. Doge was established by President Donald Trump through an executive order on January 20th after appointed Musk as chairman in November.

Musk criticized Democrats for being controlled by unions and trial lawyers. Meanwhile, liberal media figures and democratic lawmakers have raised warnings about Musk’s commitment to promoting Twitter, currently spurring Musk’s Twitter, urging MSNBC host Joy Reid in a segment of “Reidout” that lengthened South Africa’s Apartecido era in the 1980s, during his $44.3 billion acquisition.
