Mariah Carey bent her diva status with a highly self-absorbed appearance at the iHeartradio Music Awards on Monday.
The famous singer won the prestigious Icon Award and immediately had an instant viral moment as soon as she went on stage and gave her acceptance speech. Carrie slowly walked towards the microphone, making sure the spotlight was firmly attached to her. She took the time to soak up the applause and adjusted her hair and gown before she began her speech. “I don’t like bad lighting, so are the lighting okay?” she said. Carrie then begins a series of selfish actions of a clingie, making it even easier to dislike her.

After Carrie’s arrogant comment, it appeared that the production crew had scrambled to adjust the lighting.
Carrie slowly spins, ensuring that the camera and star-studded audience had taken every angle of her sparkling gown.
“Okay… do you like ensembles?” she said.

Carrie lashed and placed her hands in a diva-like gesture. Her jewels glowed under the special lighting she had requested of her.
Those who thought the singer could gather some elegant words during her speech were sadly wrong.

Carrie went on to tell the world how high she saw herself and how she was glorified of being center stage with a prisoner of war audience.
“As a child, I would listen to my favourite artists on the radio and dream of being on the air myself,” she said.
“For those of you who may not know what the signal is now, consider it as streaming non-wifi.”
Carrie really asked for it in the following selfish statement:

When Tori Kelly and Muni had long respected her in a medley of her biggest hits, the camera panned to Carrie’s unimpressed expression. She sat on the stone face and threw a side eye.
