The City of Flagstaff will be invited to participate in a convention and greeting event for finalists for the Water Services Director, at Flagstaff City Hall, on Thursday, March 27th, from 5pm to 6:30pm. The city received 13 applications, conducted four screening interviews and invited two candidates to participate in the convention and greetings after preliminary interviews.
The candidate’s names and a brief biography are included below.
Jeffrey Law: Mr. Low is a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Hydrologies, and a Floodplain Manager accreditation. He is in public services for 29 years and in private industry for four years. Mr. Law is currently the Utility Director for the Town of Camp Verde. His previous roles consisted of Capital Project Manager for Prescott, Flood Abundant Plain Unit Manager for Yavapai County, Assistant Town Engineer/Public Work Director for the Town of Cave Creek, Engineering Plan Reviewer for the Flood Control District in Maricopa County, Associate Engineer for Michael Baker Corporation, Associate Engineer for the Environmental Corporation, and Hydrological Engineer for Tusson City.
Lee Williams: Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics and is a certified operator of water treatment, distribution, wastewater treatment and wastewater collections. He has 12 years of public service, six years of education and four years of private industry. Williams is currently Director of the Water Operations Section for the City of Flagstaff. He previously worked as a teacher at Prescott Unified School District and at Orange County schools.
