Greg Abbott Shrugs Off Crockett’s ‘Governor Hot Wheels’ Joke, Says Democrats Will Be Left ‘In The Dust’

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott appeared on “Hanity” Tuesday evening, calling Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett “Governor Hot Wheels.”

Abbott said that when he comes at the election, Democrats will be left “in the dust.”

In a human rights campaign speech Monday evening, Crockett took the stage to criticize the Republican leaders of her state, calling out Abbott, who was trapped in a wheelchair and called out a “Governor Hot Wheel” who called him a “hot donkey chaos.” Fox host Sean Hannity asked the governor for his response, saying, “I’m not in hell.”

“Well, Sean, this is another day, another disaster by the Democrats. The reality is, they have no vision or policy,” Abbott said. “They don’t have anything to sell, but they hate them, and Americans don’t buy them. That’s one of the reasons Texas remains red and why Republicans continue to win elections nationwide.”

Shortly after graduating from Vanderbilt University with a law degree in 1984, Abbott was paralyzed by a falling tree while jogging. According to On the Governor’s official website. (Related: “Respect for the Competition”: Stephen A. Smith says the left has become too comfortable.

Abbott continued to tell Hannity about what he said was his state achievement.

“In fact, Sean is in contrast to what Texas actually is talking about,” Abbott said. “Texas has been ranked number one in America’s newest job, number one in the last month, number one in the newest job of the last year, and number one in the last few years. Texas has been ranked number one in the newest economic development project for the 13th year in a row.”

“The bottom line means Republican states like Texas are leading the way. With comments like this by Democrats, they’ll just leave them in the dust in future elections,” Abbott added.

Crockett’s jab with Republican governor is one of the few comments Democrats made against Republicans and President Donald Trump’s allies. In an interview with NBC DFW on Sunday, Crockett I said She believes her party should “punch” Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, while debating the future of Democrats.

Since comments were made on Abbott, Crockett I’ve taken it She tells X that her jokes are not about “the state of the governor.”

“I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition. I was thinking about the planes, trains and cars he used to move into a community led by a black mayor.

“I never mentioned or implied his condition, so I was even more appalled by the now infuriating people who explicitly support Trump, known for racially insensitive nicknames and for ocking people with disabilities,” Crockett added.

Crockett could face a formal responsibilities. Republican Texas Rep. Randy Weber said he plans to introduce a resolution denounced against Democrats on Tuesday.
