Republican New York State Rep. Elise Stefanik told Fox News Thursday evening that Democrats and corruption were one of the lists of reasons why he agreed to stay home shortly before being confirmed as Trump’s UN ambassador.
President Donald Trump on Thursday became the truth social, pulling out the nomination of Stephanik’s UN ambassador, and announced that Republicans had written “it is “essential” to keep all Republicans in Congress.” On “Hannity,” guest host Kayleigh Mcenany asked lawmakers how the decision and process took place.
“Well, you know, Kayley, I was listening the day after the inauguration. The hearing went very smoothly, and it passed by in a voice. [vote]and there was universal admiration for the nominations,” Stefanik said.
“Kathy Hochul began threatening to move the ball on Election Day. You see a very political, radical leftist who is trying to do everything he can to defeat the president. This is to step up as a team,” Stefanik said.
In February, New York Democrats reportedly began planning ways to prevent Republicans from maintaining their majority as the GOP wins 218 seats in Democrats with 218 seats.

As a leader, Stephanik said he has passed the order bill in November to allow voters to “entrench” mandates promoted by voters, including protecting borders and ‘containing’ mandates that are pushed to protect higher education “includes taking responsibility for their failures.” (Related: FMR Clinton pollers stumble when naming moderate Democrats, admitting it’s a “small list”)
“So today was really the best, but that was the combination of New York corruption, special elections and House margins that we see under Cathy Hochul,” Stefanik said.
“Look, I’m in [the] house. It’s difficult to count these votes every day. We will continue to bring victory against the political outcome on behalf of President Trump and, importantly, voters in this country,” Stefanik said.
When Trump announced Stefanik’s withdrawal, he I wrote it That lawmakers are loved by her members. Trump added that he looks forward to the day he can join his administration.
“I look forward to Elise’s future day in my administration. She’s absolutely amazing. Thank you Elise!” Trump wrote.
The president has yet to announce a new candidate for the UN ambassador.
