Flagstaff (azfamily) – Violence against Tesla is being built in cities across the country. A man caught on camera keying a Dallas Model X in Las Vegas lit vehicle, a colorado car graffiti, and a Dallas model X.
Tesla owners are currently under attack in Arizona. A woman who recently wanted to remain anonymous under the alias Susan told her Arizona family that she was following Flagstaff Route 66 when another car began chasing her.
“I’m just looking forward to it,” Susan said. “I didn’t buy a car because of political statements. I bought a car because it’s really fun to drive. My politics has nothing to do with that. I’m embarrassed by our society and what they’re doing.
Susan has a video of the Tesla attack in Flagstaff last week. It shows a green car pulled up next to her Tesla and bent in front of it, putting it in a box.
The driver then walks to the 61-year-old Tesla woman and reports to start hitting her while she is behind the wheel.
“I started saying, you cut off your problem to me, but I didn’t know how much he heard me,” Susan said. “He went outside and started punching me with his closed fist.”
At one point, the victim said she would bite the man’s hand. After a while, the passengers in the green car appear to be walking away from the attacker. Finally, they drive back to the car.
Flagstaff police later quoted the suspect.
The incident appears to be the latest attack or threat against Tesla drivers in Arizona, targeting them for the vehicles they drive.
The Arizona family spoke to another woman who recently left the grocery store in Flagstaff and found a note saying, “She’s a loser in the Nazis.”
A few weeks later, she received a threatening text called “Racist POS.”
“That’s wrong and saddened,” the victim said. “I don’t think they just hate people and are really hurting the company or Tesla.”
Targeted Tesla owners recently signed up for gun safety courses Timberline Firearmnorth of Flagstaff.
“They drove Teslas, so they were targeted and as a result they felt very vulnerable,” said shop owner Rob Wilson. “They were surprised that someone had done something like that and if they were doing it, they would target them for the car they drive. They need to take additional steps to protect themselves.”
“Takedown Tesla“More than 200 peaceful protests are scheduled for this weekend at Tesla dealers. Some of these protests take place in the Metro Phoenix area.
