Flagstaff (azfamily) – Flagstaff’s beloved radio host has been arrested on multiple charges of inviting minors for sexual exploitation. This is one case of a series of arrests for child sex exploitation in northern Arizona.
Dave Zorn was extremely involved in the Flagstaff community, from hosting Kaff Radio to education at local high school sports and Northern Arizona University. That was a shock to the community. Court documents show multiple counts of attempting to lure children to be sexually exploited.
Flagstaff police detective Bethany Hyde is part of the North Star Task Force, which investigates sex crimes and human trafficking. She infiltrates for these businesses. “If you’re there, I’m going to find you,” Hyde said. “I make sure you’re being charged because our children are our most vulnerable population.”
The six-month surgery led to 28 arrests, nine of which were involved in felony charges. Zone was one of the felony charges.

Court documents show that Zorn was booked with seven counts seducing children for sexual exploitation and attempts to furniture with harmful items.
“What we’re doing could be acting as a 12, 13, 14 year old,” Hyde said. “We create social media profiles so that people can respond to it. We don’t start these conversations. They’re starting these conversations with us.”
Cuff radio has appeared statement On Monday, he said he was placed on administrative leave as soon as the station learned about Zorn’s arrest.
He was also a part-time journalism teacher at Now. The university said his class was reassigned to another teacher. NAU student journalist shared shock in a statement. “As students, we have a hard time understanding the crushed trust we put in our mentor,” the statement said.
Hyde said the best thing parents can do is have these conversations with their kids about the dangers of social media and who they talk to online. “In our community, there are bad people out there,” she said. “I think that was really clear from the management of the task force we did with being local members.”
As for Zorn, he is tied up on a $100,000 bond.
