The entity that operates the Washington state school athletics business has given away President Donald Trump’s Title IX rules and says it would ban biological men from women’s sports. violation of the inclusion laws that Washington has.

Two amendments are now being considered by the Washington Interstate Activities Association (WIAA) to contribute to the president’s ban on biological men in women’s sports. “WIAA is a violation under current Washington state law by the Attorney General’s Office, the Office of Civil Rights, and the Director of Public Leadership, who proposed amendments to ML/HS #7 and ML/HS #8, and a violation that affirms the legal examination of lawyers,” Bessett explained.

“WIAA continues to commit to comply with state laws and will not implement any amendments focused on participation in gender consent on August 1 under current state law. If state laws change, the WIAA Executive Committee has the authority and will need to change the association’s rules accordingly.”
