Poll Brings Bad News For Hamas Supporters On College Campuses

Most US adults and many college students support some of the ways President Donald Trump uses government power against anti-Semitism on university campuses, and a new vote shows the show.

Israel is helping 66% and 56% respectively cut federal funds at universities that cannot deal with anti-Semitism, according to a campus coalition survey obtained Tuesday by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Polls found that 54% of adults support the deportation of supportive campment leader Mahmoud Khalil, with multiple college students agreeing to 40%.

“The American people have sent a clear message. The university must be responsible for its inability to protect Jewish students from discrimination and harassment,” said Jacob Beyme, Israel CEO of Campus Union, in a statement shared with the DCNF.

The poll shows that between March 21st and 24th, 450 American adults and 450 university students surveyed 1,000 adults and 450 university students after the Trump administration made a major move. He cut or threatened funding from institutions such as Columbia University, arrested the role of anti-Semitic protests in Columbia, and fought in court to deport him.

Poll Crosstabs indicated that 65% of all respondents agreed with the idea that “federal government will cancel student visas and deport non-US participants in protests in Hamas.” Trump won reelection in November after campaigning under this policy, and approved it in an executive order on his first day in office.

The Israeli Campus Coalition has created data with Shane Cooperman Research, the lead of Democratic voters Doug Shane and Carly Cooperman. The error in the poll is 3% for adults and 5% for university students, Campus Coalition’s Israel told DCNF.

“As the anti-Semitism crisis is rising, too many academic institutions are ignoring their duties,” Baime said. “These findings show that administrators must take decisive action to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for Jewish students.”
