‘Liver King’ Brian Johnson Arrested After Allegedly Taunting Joe Rogan To Fight Him

The Austin Police Department in Texas reportedly arrested Brian Johnson, a social media influencer known as the “River King.”

Police alleged that Johnson “posed a threat to Joe Logan” on June 23rd. Instagram According to the video Kxan NBC News.

“Joe Rogan, I’m calling you, my name is the King of the Liver. From man to man, I’m choosing to fight you. I’m not trained in jiu-jitsu. You’re a black belt, you should dismantle me,” Johnson said.

“But I choose to fight you. I’ll come to you whenever your rules, whenever I’m ready,” he said.

The Austin Police Department said: “The detective contacted Mr. Logan, who said he had never had an interaction with Johnson and thought the post was threatening.”

Police arrested Johnson at the Four Seasons Hotel in Downtown at 6pm Tuesday, the outlet reported.

Video footage posted to his Instagram shows that police allow Johnson to hug his wife and children before being escorted from the hotel.

Another Instagram video shared to his account at 7:30pm showed a man who looked like Johnson as Johnson was handcuffed and placed in a police vehicle.

The influencer was processed at Travis County Jail and charged with Class B misdemeanor.

Johnson gained fame as a fitness expert using “The Liver King” and reached 2.9 million followers on Instagram.

Johnson previously refused and later apologized for allegedly using steroids. NBC News.

Police reportedly continue to investigate the issue.
