Plurality Of Voters Feel More Patriotic Because Of Trump’s Presidency, Survey Says

Several voters said President Donald Trump’s president made them feel more patriotic, according to an Emerson University poll released Friday.

Of those surveyed, 39% said Trump’s presidency strengthened his feelings of patriotism. According to to the opinion poll. Meanwhile, 34% of voters said his presidency didn’t affect how he felt patriotism, while only 27% said he weakened his feelings of patriotism, polls found.

Two-thirds of Republicans (67%) said Trump’s presidency made them feel more patriotic, while 45% of Democrats said they undermined how they felt patriotic, according to a survey. Polls found that independent voters were more divided, with 31% saying Trump’s presidency increasing patriotism, while 30% said they weakened patriotic feelings, while 39% said they didn’t affect patriotic feelings. Trump’s approval rate was a statistical tie, according to the poll.
