Drew Hicks, who has a solid background in military defense, has taken on the role of Vice President of Defense for the Testing and Evaluation (T&E) Instrumentation Program at Minerva.
In this position, Hicks will oversee the strategic development and management of both government and commercial T&E programs, specifically aimed at supporting small defense contractors based in Huntsville.

As noted in a press release, Hicks has demonstrated his ability to build strong teams and lead intricate DOD technology initiatives. He brings over 15 years of experience across military aviation, defense technology, and government contract management within fast-paced testing environments.
He has also spearheaded various strategic efforts, notably in manufacturing management, contract acquisition strategies, and government engagement at the Redstone Test Center.

Hicks has a history of establishing business units from the ground up, transitioning teams into multi-million dollar endeavors. He has been instrumental in delivering solutions to clients like the Air Force, Army RCCTO, and other DOD agencies.
Before his role at Minerva, Hicks was in a senior position at Nomad Global Communication Solutions and recently served as Senior Director of DOD Programs.
A decorated veteran of the Marine Corps, Hicks has over a decade of experience specializing in air logistics and maintenance, with his work having spanned across Central and South America.
