Three Safford teachers awarded $2,500 in grants following 2022 Draft Day
Scottsdale, Arizona – Continuing the Fiesta Bowl Organization’s annual tradition of honoring, supporting and celebrating educators across Arizona, Fiesta Bowl Charities donated $2,500 each to 400 teachers, including three from Safford. bottom. Here are the classroom wishes given to Safford teachers throughout the program:
- Tiara Abril, a kindergarten teacher at Ruth Powell Elementary School in Safford, plans to purchase new rugs and technology equipment for her classroom.
- Kara Fuja, an English teacher at Safford High School in Safford, plans to buy new books for her classroom.
- Jason Johnston, a science teacher at Mount Graham High School in Safford, buys science lab supplies for his classroom.
