Emergency Landing in Northern Arizona
Page, Arizona – The pilots are safe following an emergency landing in northern Arizona on Wednesday morning.
At around 8 AM, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office received reports of an aircraft landing near the Navajo Generation Station, which is located east of Page. Deputies responded and located a 1998 Cessna 182S fixed-wing single-engine plane near the ground and main roads.
The pilot had reported an engine failure and, unable to reach Page Airport, opted for a landing on a two-lane road instead.
