Dave Portnoy Signs Barstool Sports’ Initial TV Agreement

Portnoy Confirms Barstool Sports Partnership with Fox Sports

Media figure Dave Portnoy has confirmed the collaboration aimed at integrating Barstool Sports with Fox Sports.

Portnoy shared the news in a video on X on Thursday, stating, “Barstool Sports is proud to announce our new and extensive partnership with Fox Sports. This is the first time in our glorious, infamous history of having a TV partner we believe in. I can’t wait to see the watts we make together.”

As part of this partnership, Portnoy will contribute to Fox Sports’ prominent show, “Big Noon Kickoff,” and will also host a weekly segment named “Barstool College Football Show.” Portnoy will join a panel that includes college football notables such as Urban Meyer, Matt Reinert, Brady Quinn, Mark Ingram, Chris Falka, and Rob Stone as the host.

“We look forward to welcoming Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports to the Fox Sports family,” a spokesperson mentioned. “Dave has built a unique brand that resonates with a new generation of sports fans—authentic, bold, and original.”

This alliance aims to make a significant impact in college football media, going up against ESPN’s “College Gameday,” which features popular commentator Pat McAfee. It seems that Fox Sports is leaning into Portnoy’s energetic personality for engaging commentary.

With Portnoy and Barstool Sports on board, Fox Sports anticipates a fresh and lively addition to their programming as the college football season approaches.
