Wild Wednesdays at Wild Resort & Spa

The Sedona International Film Festival has teamed up with Wild Resort in West Sedona to present “Wilde Wednesdays,” a summer outdoor film experience that will occur every Wednesday.

The event kicks off on Wednesday, July 30, showcasing the classic “Moulin Rouge!” at the Wild Resort and Spa’s Glove Fire Pit Garden.

“Moulin Rouge!” is a visually stunning film that received eight Academy Award nominations, winning Oscars for Best Picture, Best Costume Design, and Best Art Direction. It features an impressive cast, including Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.

The story revolves around a struggling poet from the 1890s who falls for a beautiful nightclub star, who is also the object of desire for a jealous duke. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Parisian nightlife, this film celebrates love and creative passion.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show on a large outdoor screen. Food and drinks will be available from Wild Resort, along with typical movie concessions.

Additionally, Wild Resort and Spa is offering special “stay” packages starting at $199 per night for the Globelo Room, which includes a complimentary bottle of wine, waived resort fees, and late check-out. To book, simply mention the reservation code “d-wwed.”

The screening of “Moulin Rouge!” will take place at dusk on July 30 at Wild Resort and Spa (2250 W. State Route 89A, West Sedona). Seating begins at 7 PM, and free parking is available at the venue.

Tickets for this event are priced at $10 each, while children under 12 can attend for free.
