A Burmese Python Hunter Found An Alligator And A Snake Having One Hell Of A Connection In The Florida Everglades

Oh…God bless the great state of Florida.

For those of you who don't know, every year the state of Florida hosts an event called the Florida Python Challenge to help eradicate Burmese pythons that have invaded the Florida Everglades and the surrounding areas of the legendary wetlands. 2024 will be no different. I've lived in Florida for 5 years and have done a lot of fishing here, I've seen plenty of alligators and snakes are common here in Florida, but I've never seen a snake riding an alligator. What does that mean?

I've never seen it, but it's common in Florida, and weird things happen to our wildlife all the time.

Recently while vacationing in Cape Coral, I was night fishing in the canal (and caught two catfish, by the way) and while fishing, my wife and I heard the call of a burrowing owl, which is actually a Cape Coral call. Lead Burrowing owl populations across Florida were declining, and not long after hearing the owl, I was just listening and observing nature when I heard what I still believe to be a baby alligator. 1,000 When I heard the sound of a Florida alligator, I repeatedly compared the sound to the video I found and I can safely say it was a baby alligator.
