If you need to evacuate and have nowhere to go, an emergency shelter is available at Camp Verde Middle School at 280 Camp Lincoln Road in Camp Verde. Animal Disaster Services has a pet and small companion animal shelter in Room 305, 395 South Main St. off Holloman, Camp Verde. Expect higher than normal currents in Oak Creek as the snow has melted in the higher elevations and it is currently raining. Intersections and driveways with low water levels may become impassable. Do not attempt to cross the area if water is present. Turn around and don’t drown.
