It’s almost April 20th, or 4/20 as it’s known in the marijuana world. Here are some of the biggest and smoky events in Tucson next week.

Southern Arizona’s largest cannabis festival ChronicConwill be held on Tucson Day on May 20th (you know May 20th?). Next week is the official holiday of April 20th.

Spectacular spring weather is finally making an appearance, and from now until Sunday, April 23, there will be numerous marijuana-infused festivals, parties, and concerts across Arizona.

Here Weed Go! Brand, I’ve decided to put together a list of all the events worth watching.

Tucson events

Tucson Metal Society 4/20 Party

Attendees: Worn by Tucson Metal Society sponsored by Stellar Smoke Shop and Kannabis Kulture

What it’s about: Metal acts take center stage after a short, cannabis-centric documentary kicks off the proceedings.

When: Thursday, April 20th. The event will start at 4:20pm.

Where: The Bard’s House (4915 East Speedway Boulevard)

How much?: Free for members of the association, $10 admission for non-members

What it is: A two-venue, essentially two-event festival, first with a vendor fair at The Whistle Stop Depot and later with a concert at Club Congress.

When: Thursday 20th April, Whistlestop from 4pm to 7pm and Congress from 7pm to midnight.

Date: 4/20 2:30pm to 10:00pm

Lil Jon at the Pima County Fair

Who: Like “What?! OK!!” Rap superstar Lil Jon will headline the opening night of the Pima County Fair.

What: This is not officially an event on April 20th, but please join us.

When: Thursday, April 20th.Show starts at 8pm

Where: Pima County Fairgrounds (11300 South Horton Road)

How much does it cost?: Fair tickets are $11 for adults, $6 for children (ages 6-10) and seniors and include general admission to the Lil Jon concert. Concert upgrades are available for an additional charge of $20.

3rd Annual 420 Block Party

What: This year’s event kicks off the festivities with the addition of a free, public auto show. The main event is indoor/outdoor with stalls, live acts and food.

Date: Saturday, April 22nd Car show from 10am to 3pm, main event from 4:20pm

Location: D’Lux Lounge (1901 S 4th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713)

How much?: General admission: $20 plus concert section ticket fee. VIP option: $350 and up.

2nd Annual Music Entertainment Day

Produced by: Perfectly Original Things Productions LLC and Hi Rollers Social Club of Tucson

What: A celebration of independent hip-hop artists, local businesses and vendors with live performances and smoking lounges.

When: Saturday, April 22, doors open at 6pm, show starts at 7pm

Location: Studio Space Tucson (4648 East Speedway Boulevard Tucson, AZ 85712)

Prices: General admission: $15. Access to smoking lounges (where cannabis is allowed): $5 additional.
