A man was fighting with his girlfriend before deputies found his body, SC cops say

An investigation is ongoing after a man’s body was found at his Midlands home over the weekend. Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Altron T. Burrell, 45, died in what appeared to be a shooting, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. An autopsy is scheduled at Newbery Pathology to determine Burrell’s cause of death. Fairfield County Coroner Chris Hill said.
