No no no no no!
When asked New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers about a possible reunion with the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver, Davante Adamshe will tell you outright that it needs to happen.
Rodgers was recently in Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament and happened to get into a conversation about his former teammate. And lo and behold, he seems to have fallen in love. And the biggest thing that came out of the scene was that he said he'd like to play with Adams “one more time.”
“I love Davante and I can't wait to play him again,” Rodgers said on the course Thursday. (RELATED: Titans acquire three-time Pro Bowl selection Jamal Adams in free agency)
What's even more interesting is the fact that Adams expressed the same sentiment during a recent appearance on “Up & Adams,” saying that Rogers has been complaining to him about it.
“He's in the ear, that's for sure, he's in the ear.” Said “But it's not that simple,” Adams said. “Of course we can get together and talk about old times and talk about the possibilities of doing this or that.”
During their eight seasons together with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers and Adams combined for an astounding 8,121 yards receiving.
