The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) representative committee has reportedly resigned to share undocumented immigrant tax data with homeland security officials following a new agreement between the Treasury Department and the Department of Homeland Security.
Klaus has taken on the role of the IRS’ third leader since President Donald Trump’s inauguration, but she will recently resign from her position through a postponed resignation programme offered to agency employees. The decision was reportedly affected by the recent enforcement of a contract signed by Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent and Homeland Security Secretary Christa Noem, allowing immigration officials to access private taxpayer information.
