Cochis County, Arizona (KGUN) — updated at 12:15 p.m.
Together, the two blazes, now called the Adams-Roblesse fires, expanded to 3,500 acres as of noon Thursday, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Administration.
The fires were not merged and are being managed as a single incident.
SET evacuation status is maintained and I-10 is still open at this time. AZDFFM says drivers should drive with caution when smoke obscures visibility.
About 150 firefighters are fighting the fire.

An evacuation order has been issued for the Robles fire in East Benson, Arizona.
The Arizona State Forestry Department said the fires have burned about 100 acres so far. The ministry’s leaders also added that the blaze threatened to damage multiple communication towers and structures in the area.
Cochise County Sheriff’s Office
The area between Interstate 10, Dragoon Road, and Touchstone Road is currently in “setup” status, according to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.
Another five-acre fire, known as the Adam’s Peak Fire, is burning in the mountains of the same name, just north of Interstate 10 from where the Robles fire is currently burning. During Wednesday, July 19, the Adams Peak fire approached Interstate 10.
Firefighters have said drivers should proceed with caution when en route to Interstate 10 in the area.
