Congressman Adderholt’s Take on Trump’s First 100 Days

U.S. Congressman Robert Adderholt (R-Haleyville) feels strongly that President Donald Trump’s first 100 days were quite successful.

Members of Congress have highlighted the president’s initiatives regarding the economy, immigration, and foreign policy, as well as efforts to cut government waste.

Adderholt remarked that under Trump’s leadership, the safety of the southern borders has improved significantly. He noted, “The illegal crossings have dropped to levels we haven’t seen in years, which shows that our laws are being enforced and national security is a priority.”

Statistics from customs and border patrol indicate a 99% decrease in border encounters, which Adderholt claims supports Trump’s commitment to his promises.

He further stated, “The President is making bold moves to remove dangerous, illegal immigrants from our communities. Previously, cartels and harmful foreign entities exploited the weak immigration policies of the last administration, which led to suffering for many Americans. By putting American citizens first, law enforcement is identifying and deporting those who pose a threat to our neighborhoods.”

Adderholt also commended Congressional Republicans for their collaborative efforts to advance Trump’s agenda.

“In Congress, we are partnering with President Trump to develop a budget that reflects the true priorities of Americans,” he explained. “Our goal is to cut unnecessary government spending while lowering taxes for hardworking families and small businesses. This budget aims to foster economic growth, safeguard essential services, and uphold the trust of taxpayers.”

In Adderholt’s view, the president is committed to the mission of “making America great again.” He emphasized, “President Trump has made it clear that the era of America’s goodwill being taken for granted is over. No matter who our partners or adversaries are, the world understands that America is strong, resolute, and always puts its interests first.”
