ADOT’s Phoenix Weekend Travel Advisory (March 10-13, 2023)

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, this weekend (March 10-13) the Phoenix area will require closures or lane restrictions due to highway improvement projects. Drivers should plan alternate routes in plenty of time.

The following highway regulations are scheduled.

Southbound I-17 will be closed between Cactus Road and Northern Avenue from 8:00 PM Friday to 11:00 AM Saturday (March 11). For pavement improvement projects. Westbound US 60 was closed between Alma School Road and McClintock Drive from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday (March 13). For pavement improvement projects. The westbound I-10 ramp to northbound SR 143 (Hohokam Expressway) is closed from 10:00 PM Friday to 4:00 AM Monday. (March 13) I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project. Detours: Drivers heading to Sky Harbor Airport should consider taking his westbound I-10 to his 24th Street or Backeye Road to the west entrance of the airport. Eastbound I-10 (towards Tucson) narrowed to one The lane between Riggs Road and the Gila River Bridge (near SR 587) will be cleared overnight from 9pm Sunday to 5am Monday (March 13) for a pavement improvement project.
