Yuma, Arizona (KYMA, KECY) – AdvoKATE Foundation We hosted the 2nd Annual Kate Campa Dance Invitational on Saturday night.
The event, which began at 7 p.m. in Snyder Auditorium at Yuma High School (YHS), was designed to honor Kate Campa's life by raising awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer.
In addition to Kate's Dream Team, performers from YHS, Cibola High School (CHS), San Luis High School (SLHS), Dancers Workshop, and more participated in the event.

Additionally, Yuma native Monica Ramirez made a guest appearance and performed the final song of the night, Bonnie Tyler's “Hold Out for a Hero,” which Campa says will be featured at the next event. It is said to be the beginning of a February dance challenge.
