Tim Walz was a coward who never went to Iraq, but it was probably for the best that he never went there and never saw combat.
If you don’t believe me, watch this video of him struggling to load and unload his Beretta shotgun during a pheasant hunting PR stunt in Minnesota on Saturday. You can see him trying hard to maintain his composure as he fumbles through basic tasks that anyone with some experience with guns can easily perform. “This is a Beretta A400,” Walz told reporters in the video. “I bought it when I was shooting a lot of traps. It has a patented kickoff feature so my shoulders don’t hurt as much as I get older.”
Certainly, certainly. Whatever you say, Tim.
two veterans, retired Sergeants Major Thomas Behrens and Paul Herr; publicly denounced In a 2018 letter, Walz accused the troops of “betraying their country” by retiring before they were deployed to Iraq. Mr. Walz also made an apparent statement when he claimed to be an “Operation Enduring Freedom Veteran,” the U.S. government’s official name for the Afghanistan war, even though he never actually deployed to the Middle East. Looks like he was lying.
But all for the best. Can you imagine Waltz being near a war zone? Can you imagine him kicking down a door in Fallujah?
After watching this video, no man would want to take Waltz into a trench with the enemy closing in while bullets fly overhead. I’m going to take one of my interns to replace this clumsy clown. I’ll even take an androgynous hipster from Brooklyn – anyone but him.
