Alabama, Auburn both rank top ten in latest ’25 recruiting class update

It's a great day for recruiters at either of Alabama's two premier programs, as both the University of Alabama and Auburn University rank in the top 10 in On3's latest update of its 2025 industry team recruiting rankings.

Currently ranked fourth in the draft behind Ohio State, Georgia and Louisiana State, Alabama is on one of the most aggressive recruiting trails of any school in the country. Cullen DeBoer and Alabama have secured four offensive linemen in the past two weeks, focusing on the signing of five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, five-star offensive lineman Ty Haywood and five-star cornerback Dijon Lee.

Auburn, currently ranked seventh behind Clemson and Notre Dame, recently acquired running back Alvin Henderson from Elba College, who had previously committed to Penn State.

Hugh Freeze and the Tigers just acquired four-star safety Eric Winters from Enterprise and continue to work on recruiting one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Julian Lewis, a Carrollton, Georgia, native who is currently committed to USC.

The class of 2025 still has a long way to go, but both powerhouse teams from the Yellow Hammer State are off to great starts and will only continue to build on their momentum.
