As he aims for the Alabama governorship in 2026, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville is securing crucial endorsements that many candidates would seek.
On Monday, the Alabama Banks Association, representing the state and local banking sector, announced their formal endorsement of Tuberville (R-Auburn).
“Senator Tuberville is a bold leader—he’s persistent, decisive, and determined,” said Scott Latham, president and CEO of the ABA. “He seeks every chance to build teams and forge industry partnerships to advance Alabama.”

During his tenure in the Senate, Tuberville has focused heavily on banking policies and expressed gratitude to Alabama bankers for their support.
“I appreciate the backing from Alabama’s banking community,” he stated.
“Since coming to the Senate in 2021, I’ve been dedicated to fostering job growth in Alabama. For our economy to flourish, businesses must have better access to capital. Supporting Alabama banks is essential.”
In parallel to his impressive fundraising efforts, Tuberville has gained significant endorsements from key industries and advocacy groups, including the Alabama Manufacturing sector, the Alabama Forest Association, the Alabama Business Council, and the Alabama General Contractors.
