Twinkle Kavanaugh has received another notable endorsement in her effort to remain chair of the Alabama Public Service Commission. The Alabama Republican Congress, one of the most cohesive conservative groups in the state, expressed support for Kavanaugh's re-election effort.

“Twinkle Andres Kavanaugh has been a member of the Alabama Republican Congress and a strong supporter for more than 15 years,” said ARA President William Smith. Yellow Hammer News. “As she has demonstrated as chair of the Alabama Republican Party and throughout her public service, her conservative principles are consistent with those of Presidents Reagan and Trump.”

Kavanaugh specifically cited the Biden administration's harmful energy policies in explaining his determination to seek a fourth term as president.

“I'm running again because I refuse to stand by and watch Joe Biden and liberals in Washington destroy our country with unrealistic and unachievable ideas about energy and the environment.” she said. “Biden's efforts to deny Americans the use of oil, coal, and natural gas have made energy much more expensive. We will continue to fight him and his liberal environmental supporters every step of the way until we can make the most of our resources.

“Despite Joe Biden's best efforts to oppose us, our commitment to using coal and natural gas for energy production will continue to push millions of Alabamians through record cold. We continued to support people in the heat.”
