Alabama Republicans Announce Keynote Speaker for Summer Dinner

The Alabama Republicans have revealed their keynote speaker for the upcoming summer dinner in Montgomery.

This event, which has attracted high-profile figures like former President Donald Trump and his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, promises to be significant this August.

On Wednesday, party chair John Wahl shared that this year’s featured speaker will be Michael Whatley, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

“Chairman Whatley is one of the most effective and respected leaders in the Republican Party today,” Wahl remarked.

He added, “His leadership has played a crucial role in revitalizing our national infrastructure, building grassroots support, and restoring trust in the electoral process. I’ve developed a friendship with Chairman Whatley during our time together at the RNC.”

According to Wahl, Whatley’s “strategic vision and commitment” to the principles of First Generation of America have been essential for securing Republican victories nationwide.

“We are truly honored to have him join us for dinner in Alabama this summer. His message focusing on strength, unity, and conservative values couldn’t come at a more crucial time for our country,” he continued.

Prior to his role at the RNC, Whatley was the chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party. He also served in the George W. Bush administration and was Chief of Staff for Senator Elizabeth Dole. Whatley has been recognized for his work as a senior advisor during the Trump transition team.

The event is set for August 1st at the Renaissance Montgomery convention center, with a reception starting at 6 PM and dinner at 7 PM.
