Alabama’s congressional delegation commends President Trump’s initial 100 days as a return to common sense.

Members of Alabama’s Republican delegation in Washington, D.C., are expressing confidence in the accomplishments of President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office.

The White House claims that illegal border crossings have decreased by 95%, and the number of illegal immigrants who managed to evade capture has dropped by 99%.

The administration also took the occasion to display signs showcasing those arrested for immigration violations on the South Lawn, making a statement for the press.

One tweet from the White House emphasized the message: “We’ll corner you. You will face justice. You will be deported – and you will never step into American soil again.”

U.S. Representative Dale Strong (R-Huntsville) commented on how Trump has upheld his commitments, stating he has “restored common sense.”

He tweeted about the president’s achievements in the first 100 days, covering points like border management, reducing waste, and job growth.

U.S. Representative Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) asserted that the president is succeeding in safeguarding the country, noting that “border security is national security” and highlighting the significant drop in illegal border crossing attempts under Trump’s leadership.

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) commended Trump for addressing problems he believed were exacerbated by the previous administration, asserting that border crossings have decreased drastically since Trump took office.

Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) not only applauded Trump’s agenda but also mentioned how she and her colleagues have supported his policies, pointing out that they cast 213 votes in the Senate during the early period, the most in decades, to advance the administration’s goals.
