A new group, Harris Evangelicals, wants people to think she resembles the Reverend Billy Graham, not former President Donald Trump. It's easy to piece together 10-second soundbites to give an opinion after Graham's death. To believe 10 seconds, you have to ignore 99 years of his behavior.

Several clips of President Trump's bravado lead viewers to believe that President Trump's words and actions are inconsistent with the teachings of Christ and Biblical values, and by default, the statements of Vice President Kamala Harris and This leads us to conclude that the actions are contradictory. Would Billy Graham vote for Kamala Harris? Do we need evangelicals?
As with her financial plans, there is no evidence that she is Christ-like. Rather, Mr. Graham's words suggest that Mr. Trump is not good enough. The question for Christians is not who looks like Billy Graham, but who looks like Christ.
Evangelicals have two central tenets. That is, the Bible is true and Jesus is the only way to God. Neither Trump nor Harris have ever claimed to be evangelical, so which policies are most consistent with those evangelical values?
Billy Graham believed that the words of the Bible are absolute and unchanging. Acts 17:26 “God created all the nations that live on the earth from one blood.”
Public Theologian Ekemini Uwan (Harris' evangelicals) denounced “white Jesus violence” and said “white people are evil.” Is she evangelical? Even if her thoughts don't reflect the Jesus of the Bible, that's not the case.

When I was on the 2020 Good Friday conference call, President Trump read from Isaiah 53 and said, I believe John 3:16. ”Is he perfect? No, I don't know his mind, but I can see his actions. The world is not a kind and gentle place. We need leaders who value victory not surrender, life not death, prosperity not equity, Americanism not Marxism, and who know that Israel is not the enemy.
If you think Trump shouldn't be president because he's not perfect, I can't help you. There has never been a president. But if you think Harris is a real Bible-believing evangelical, I have land for sale in Florida.
