ALFA supports Stutts in his campaign for re-election to the Alabama Senate District 6

Stutz Secures Support from Alabama Farmers Federation

Senator Larry Stutz has received endorsement from the Alabama Farmers’ Federation as he seeks re-election in Alabama Senate District 6. As chairman of the Children and Youth Health Committee and a member of several other committees, he has garnered support from significant organizations in the state legislature over the past decade.

The Alpha Chapter in District 6, which includes Colbert, Franklin, Lawrence, and Limestone counties, commended Stutz for his advocacy on behalf of local farmers and producers.

“Senator Larry Stutz has shown himself to be a true conservative, and we’re proud to back him,” noted Luther Bishop, chairman of the Colbert County Farmers Federation. “He is approachable and hardworking. It’s crucial we keep him in Montgomery working for us.”

Derek Jackson, president of the Franklin County Farmers Federation, emphasized Stutz’s commitment to farming issues.

“As a cattle farmer, Senator Stutz understands the needs of our industry,” Jackson remarked. “He effectively addresses these concerns and will continue to do so.”

Jerry Allen Newby, president of the Limestone County Farmers Federation, stated that Stutz embodies the values of the agricultural community.

“Senator Stutz shares the same conservative values and work ethic as our farmers,” Newby expressed. “He ensures we achieve our best profits.”

John Tucker, chairman of the Lawrence County Farmers Federation, believes that Stutz truly understands the concerns of farmers and producers.

“Senator Stutz recognizes the significance of agriculture for both the region and the state,” Tucker asserted. “He is always willing to listen to our concerns, and we are proud to support him.”

Stutz expressed gratitude for the backing of the Federation.

“It’s a tremendous honor to have the support of farmers in District 6,” Stutz said. “They are among the hardest working individuals I know, and I take pride in bringing their values and work ethic to Montgomery.”

Stutz is a veterinarian with a DVM from Auburn University and an MD from the University of Southern Alabama. He operated Colbert OB/Gyn in Sheffield for 32 years, attending to over 22,000 patients and delivering more than 12,000 babies.

The Alabama Farmers Federation boasts over 365,000 members and relies on grassroots efforts for candidate approval through the County Farmers Federation board of directors in local elections.
