Alabama Republicans Achieve Milestone in National Growth Program
On Tuesday, Alabama Republicans announced that they have completed the first stage of the Republican National Committee’s Growth program. This achievement positions Alabama among the early states to reach such a milestone, setting the party up for ongoing success as they move forward in the rigorous program.
The Growth Program is divided into three phases: Rising, Leader Circle, and Chair Circle, with rewards for each completion. Currently, the Alabama GOP is finalizing its Rising phase, gaining both recognition and resources to bolster party operations ahead of the 2026 elections.
ALGOP Chairman John Wahl expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishments. He stated, “I couldn’t be more proud of our team here in Alabama. The program is one of the strictest benchmarks set by the RNC for state parties, and Alabama is the first to meet all annual requirements. This reflects the remarkable dedication of our staff, their high standards, and their commitment to excellence.”
Wahl also highlighted the significance of the Growth Program for future victories, noting, “The resources and recognition gained through this program not only bring admiration but also serve as crucial investments for the future of the Alabama GOP. These incentives will enable us to build stronger grassroots efforts, enhance communications, and improve our election-winning capabilities for 2026. With the right team and vision, Alabama Republicans can set a benchmark for national parties across the country.”
As they look to the future, Alabama Republicans are gearing up to enter the Leader Circle phase, which is essential for finalizing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan. By December 15, 2025, they aim to advance to the elite Chair Circle after successfully completing both the Leadership Circles.
“We are excited to continue working to enhance Alabama’s reputation on the national stage,” Wahl remarked. “From the beginning, our mission has been to establish Alabama as a conservative stronghold and a model for Republican leaders nationwide.”
