Stuart Barney of Fox Business on Monday criticized Republican senator Sam Browne for allegedly trying to avoid a question about Ukraine.
Brown, an Afghanistan war veteran running from Nevada, was questioned about former President Donald Trump’s recent remarks that he would end the Ukraine-Russia war within 24 hours.
“If you were elected to the U.S. Senate, what kind of leadership would you have over Ukraine? What are you going to do in Ukraine?” Varney asked.
“Well, Stuart, it really starts with defining what mission success looks like based on the resources we have,” Brown said.
“So how do you define?
“It really starts with understanding the resources that we have available,” says Brown. “And unfortunately, President Biden has really shown the world his weakness.
“As a leader, as someone who was actually in the trenches, I know that whenever you set yourself a task, you need to know what equipment you have, what you have, what resources you have. I know,” he continued. “I’m not going to sit here and tell the American people exactly what it’s like without that knowledge, and that’s what too many politicians are doing.
