A shooter on a scooter killed one victim and injured three others in broad daylight Saturday in Brooklyn and Queens, New York City, Fox News reported.
A 25-year-old man is suspected of starting a riot in Cypress Hill, shooting a passerby in the shoulder, and then shooting and killing an 87-year-old man in the back on Jamaica Avenue. according to to Fox News. The victim was taken to a Jamaica hospital where he reportedly died of gunshot wounds. Police reports said the suspect fired into the crowd without hitting anyone.

The suspect reportedly shot a 44-year-old man who was immediately rushed to hospital and is reportedly now in critical condition. A 63-year-old man was also shot during the rampage and taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) said the shooter was arrested on 94th Street later that day. They recovered the suspect’s semi-automatic pistol, extended magazine, and scooter.
“I don’t know the motives…if you look at the demographics and ancestry of the victims, they are all different,” Chief of Staff Joseph Kenny said. “At the moment, the video shows he is not targeting anyone.
The New York City Police Department is currently investigating the shooting.
