A cry to Drake… I like hockey, Poutine is interested in me, but let’s be honest here – we are the coolest countries.
It was fully on display on Monday as Americans chose a classy route in their battle with Canadians. Almost all decided not to boo the Boston neighbor’s national anthem before the match between Canada and Finland. The game was part of a four-country showdown in the NHL. (Related: Team USA Hockey’s victory over Canada is a pull in the TV ratings of the Mammoth, where America’s pride has returned.)
Americans had all the rights to boo the living hell from the Canadian anthem, considering that Canadians booed “starspanged banners” on multiple occasions. However, the Americans were overwhelmingly quiet and chose to show respect. And why are you angry, perhaps as you are in our glory of defeating them on Saturday?
In today’s Canadian anthem, there are far fewer boos at TD Garden’s Canadian anthem than it was for a star-spangled banner on a Saturday night in Montreal 🇨🇦@weei #4nations pic.twitter.com/qgblfxyfoq

Yes, I can say there were some boos here and there, but nothing compared to the nasty behavior from Canadians before Saturday’s game between Team USA and Team Canada.
Team Canada learned fafo last night:
1 – They booed our national anthem
2 – Get caught up in three battles in the first 9 seconds
3 – Then we will net three unanswered goals
4-Blow out the free bird after each goal
5– And we blow them off in their own stadium

It’s not that we needed a blog to declare it, but you have it: America is a cool country.
