An El Paso Man was killed in Arizona

Tucson, Arizona— An El Paso man was kidnapped and murdered in Tucson, Arizona earlier this month.

Malik Brooks, 24, was found near Rose Canyon Lake in Arizona with “clear signs of trauma,” according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities first became aware of the plan after hearing a phone call at the El Paso County Detention Center where individuals discussed Brooks.

According to Tucson.com, Brooks was lured to Tucson under the guise of performing at a rap show. He was last seen alive and he took Uber home.

Four men were arrested on suspicion of murder. Quinton Holt, 23 years old. Derek Ash, 19 years old. Christopher Ellis, 22 years old.

Holt and Cassim were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Ash was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit first-degree murder and misconduct with a weapon. All three were imprisoned in the Pima County Jail.
