Angel continues to make history…albeit a little tarnished.

That being said, the main reason she scores so many points is undoubtedly due to her rebounding ability, and her shooting ability isn't necessarily the best. (RELATED: Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards makes totally ridiculous claim about Michael Jordan and the '90s NBA)
Take Sunday's game, for example: The Sky took on the Las Vegas Aces, who, for those of you who don't know, are the defending WNBA champions. As with the other games, Reese had a ton of rebounds on the stat sheet, but in this one, she missed shot after shot.

Despite the difficulties of filming, she did what she had to do to keep herself calm. 22nd Her 2024 double-double tied the Atlanta Dream Center and WNBA rookie record. Tina CharlesAnd at this point in the season, with 11 games still remaining on the schedule, it's safe to assume Reese will continue to break and extend his record.
But just as her shot numbers taint her record, her rebounds are also a bit tainted. Many of her rebounds came off her own missed shots. For example, in the fourth quarter, Reese grabbed four offensive rebounds off three missed shots.
