There’s a lot of speculation about Shohei Ohtani’s future salary, and I’m trying to be part of it.
I think we all agree that Ohtani is truly incredible, but so incredible it’s probably the only time in our lives that we’ll see someone perform like him. deaf. If so, he too will be signing the contract of a lifetime. As time goes on, rumored prices continue to rise, so where exactly will this guy land financially in his free agency years?
The numbers I’ve come up with so far are $40-50 million But the way I see it (and the continued hype), I think Ohtani could reach anywhere between $80 million and $100 million. I’m serious Ohtani is truly a historic player, and when it comes time to bid, I see several teams throwing huge salaries at the guy. Shohei Ohtani doesn’t come that way. In truth, he’s the only one that’s ever existed. (Related: Happy Birthday, America! Pepsi Launches Awesome ‘KolaChap’ Sauce At Select MLB Ballparks To Celebrate Independence Day)
After all, I’m seeing numbers that are really, really game-changing.
