According to the report, Anna Wintour has resigned as Vogue’s editor-in-chief, and searches for her replacement have already begun.
Wintour will be informed about leadership changes on Thursday, Voguestaff, Variety Confirmed. She will maintain her role as Chief Content Officer for Vogue’s Condé Nast and Global Editorial Director. The longtime outlet staple and acclaimed Met Gala Chief Chair Wintour will continue to take charge of Vogue’s global production volume.

Wintour’s position as Chief Content Manager for Condé Nast means having authority over the company’s global brands, including Wired, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, Condé Nast Traveler, Glamour, BonAppétit, Tatler, The World of Interiors, Allure and more. The New Yorker is under the authority of David Remnick and is not within the scope of Wintour.
