Anti-Israel Protesters Crash Event Supporting Kamala Harris, Clash With Cops

Left-wing protesters crashed a rally in support of Vice President Kamala Harris in New York on Wednesday, clashing with police.

video Pro-Palestinian protesters are seen shouting at after-party patrons at a Harlem restaurant. According to Chaos ensued as police escorted protesters from the afterparty, with horns, whistles and smoke bombs going off, according to the New York Post.

In the footage, one man can be heard yelling “How dare you do that!” as many after-party goers raise their voices.

At least 14 people were detained, according to police. Police arrested a female protester who taunted officers with a cardboard sign on the sidewalk, according to the New York Post. Another protester reportedly fled from officers.

The incident caused damage to the restaurant's structure and reportedly caused thousands of dollars in damage to its outdoor seating. According to “Vote No to the Bombala Genocide,” an anti-Israel poster reading that read, “Vote No to the Bombala Genocide,” was briefly on display in the restaurant's window, according to the New York Post. Police vehicles were reportedly scrawled with the words “Liberate Gaza.”

Top New York state Democratic officials, including New York Gov. Kathy Hockle, New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York Attorney General Letitia James, were among the most prominent speakers at the pro-Harris event. ABC 7 New York Adams' speech was reportedly interrupted by protesters before the afterparty.

Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, did not attend Wednesday's rally.
