Arizona Department of Health Services recommends masks for Apache, Navajo counties

Due to rising COVID-19 case rates in Apache and Navajo counties, the Arizona Department of Health recommends wearing masks in those counties. It’s labeled ‘COVID Community Level’ and recommends wearing a mask indoors.

And while some of Arizona’s other counties, including Maricopa and Pima, are under the “moderate community level” label, State Department of Health Services’ Steve Elliott says masks are appropriate regardless of case rates. It is said that it may be
