According to Facebook posting The deputy officer of Yabapai County at Lake Cordes saw smoke nearly 10 pm on Sunday. When he arrived, he found a completely wrapped house.
He and other agents confirmed that the housing owner was safe from the fire, but later was told that the dog was in the kinship behind the building.
The agent did not come across the building, so he found a dog near the burning fire. After sitting a dog from the dog hut with the bolt cutter, the agent was able to help the puppy escape the danger.
The agent went to a surrounding house, notified the residents to evacuate, and no injuries were reported.
Officials said the cause of the fire was unknown.
