Arizona is the Best State for Civic Racial Equality – WalletHub Study

With black voter turnout declining in the 2022 midterm elections, with 64.1% of black Americans registering to vote compared to 70.9% of white Americans, WalletHub announced today: Best States for Racial Equality in Civic Engagementas well as expert commentary.

Racial equality has become a prominent issue in recent years, with protests against police brutality giving way to broader debates about race relations. While it is easy to see racial differences in areas such as employment and education, it is also important to highlight differences in civic participation. for example, 70.9% Register to vote, compared to 64.1% of non-Hispanic white adults in the United States.
