When the need is found in January, Prescott’s Arizona Philharmonic Orchestra (AZPhil.org) will provide free lunches to teens who can’t afford lunches and scholarships to other youth. Proposed a collaboration idea to Launch Pad to help fund the program All Access Pass. program. With the help of The Launch Pad’s executive director and founder Courtney Osterfeldt, the teen caution he developed by Molnar earned the nickname “Caution’s His Cause”.

The idea for this collaboration is that the teenagers from The Launch Pad will help Maria Fleury, principal timpanist from Phil, Arizona, prepare for the Manos Percussion Performance at YCPAC on February 5th. It was about helping set up many large percussion instruments and experiencing firsthand what it was like to stage a professional music event. Details were coordinated by Caution and The Launch Pad Program Director James Malek, with groups of teens volunteering to help rehearse and perform.
In return for their help, the teens got concert tickets, and AZ Phil promised audiences $1 per ticket and other donations from audiences to the lunch program. “We recently obtained numbers from YCPAC and are pleased to be able to donate $405 in concerts for Cautions Causes to Launch Pad,” said Maria Fleury. In addition to $405, other viewers also donated directly to her The Launch Pad for the program.
And at the climax of the performance, Fleury met with the group to discuss what they had heard and seen, ask questions, and explore ways to further collaborate in the future. “AZ Phil is honored to be part of this outstanding organization that provides Prescott youth with so many valuable opportunities and life experiences,” added Fleury.
